Nature Preserve

Surrounding the community is approximately 625 acres of breathtaking open space.

This is all part of the Intermountain Conservation Trust which was established in 2001 to protect our natural lands, benefitting the community and the wildlife. Campbell Corporation entrusted 577 acres of land along the San Pedro Creek to the stewardship.

An environmental scientist recently described San Pedro Creek as one of the most unique waterways in the Southwest. This preserve is not only an educational ground for the nearby East Mountain High School, but also a unique area to hike and explore.
