A quote from the President & CEO of Campbell Corporation

For this week’s blog, Robert Gately would like to say a few words about our recent holiday.

“The Marine Corps birthday was Sat Nov. 10th and Veterans Day was Sun Nov.11th. God bless the Marine Corps and God bless all of our Veterans – those who are still with us and those who have passed. We will never forget the men and women who have sacrificed for our freedom and way of life.”

Million Dollar Sales

Posted by Kim on Sep 25, 2007

Sales were hot this summer at San Pedro Overlook!

Will Beecher, vice president of sales and marketing for Campbell Ranch Realty, sold a $1 million parcel of land and a $1.065 million home.

In June, a 13-plus-acre plot of land was sold to a family from Chicago. This spectacular homesite is situated directly on the 625-acre nature preserve and overlooks the vast red-rock canyon preserve and six surrounding mountain ranges. The land sale was reported as the largest sale price for a single residential lot sale in history for the greater Albuquerque area. This land sale story was featured in New Mexico Business Weekly

In August, a Grand Lodge style Campbell Custom Home was sold to an Albuquerque couple. This 3,300 square foot home sits on three acres of land and overlooks the San Pedro Nature Preserve. The home was designed to take advantage of the 360 degree views.

Brainiest Cities

New Mexico’s largest metro area sits among the top 10 cities in the U.S. of communities with the highest concentration of brainpower.

New Mexico’s largest metro area sits among the top 10 cities in the U.S. in a new demographics survey conducted for American City Business Journals’ (ACBJ) of communities with the highest concentration of brainpower.

The report, produced for the New Mexico Business Weekly’s parent, ACBJ, for its Bizjournals.com Web site, says 18.4 percent of Albuquerque residents hold a bachelor’s degree, while 13.4 percent have earned a graduate or professional degree. Another 24.2 percent attended college, but didn’t earn a degree, according to U.S. Census Bureau data evaluated for the report. Writer G. Scott Thomas, special projects editor for Business First of Buffalo, a sister publication, notes in the accompanying Bizjournals.com profiles on each city that Albuquerque “doesn’t get the credit it deserves for brainpower.” For more information on Albuquerque and surrounding areas click here.
