Water & UtilitiesWater Service Program![]() The water lines run to the lot lines and it is the responsibility of the lot owner to extend the water line to the home. A meter is required at each home and provided by the developer. This is to determine the water usage for billing purposes; monthly usage fees will recover the costs of maintenance and electricity. There is also a monthly assessment for future equipment replacement and maintenance of the wellhead and shared well system, which is included in the monthly HOA fees. Water Quantity and QualityThe quality of the water is tested monthly by an outside agency. This is to ensure it meets drinking standards. Although Campbell Ranch has a reputation for having some of the highest quality water supply in the state, parts of central New Mexico are known for slightly hard water and residents may choose to install a water softener at their home. This is left in the hands of the individual homesite owner. While quantity of water can never be guaranteed, there are several wells located in San Pedro Overlook that produce over 100 gallons per minute. |
