Recreation - Hiking, Golf, Ski, Horseback Riding

Various recreational activities are available moments away from your doorstep. The magnificent 625-acre San Pedro Creek Nature Preserve provides a serene place to hike and explore the land. There are also many trails throughout the area that provide more of a challenge.

Two miles south on the Turquoise Trail is Paa-Ko Ridge Golf Club, a nationally-ranked golf course designed by Ken Dye. Skiing and snowboarding are available at Sandia Peak Ski Area and Ski Santa Fe, within 15 and 30 minutes of the community, respectively. Horseback riding is readily accessable in the East Mountains, whether it be riding independantly or with a guide.
