There are many great local and large retail stores just minutes away from Campbell Ranch, not to mention the great southwestern shops in Santa Fe and Albuquerque’s Old Town. These unique places make for wonderful day trips.

East Mountains

Located on Highway North 14, just a short drive from Campbell Ranch, many of the amenities of a large town are right off the road. The Triangle Grocery Store serves the East Mountains’ grocery needs. It provides everything from fresh beef and seafood to produce, serving customers in a true neighborhood atmosphere. Tijeras offers some unique shopping experiences from the Hitch n Post Feed & Supply for all your animal needs, to the Just Imagine Gallery where you can pick up gifts, jewelry and art.

Albuquerque

Albuquerque is just a short drive down Interstate 40 where Costco Wholesale, Sam’s Club, Target, and Best Buy offer convenient shopping for those everyday items, home electronic purchases and more. There are hundreds of other stores in the Albuquerque area that give you the choices of a large city in a smaller, down-home environment.

Old Town, located in the heart of the Albuquerque, has been the center of town for 300 years. Today you will find dozens of shops containing southwestern and contemporary art, jewelry, and clothing. Complete with great New Mexican restaurants and the historic San Felipe de Neri Church, this is a great place to spend the day shopping and sightseeing.

Nob Hill, built in the 1940s, is also positioned in the heart of Albuquerque. The area offers some of the best shopping and dining in New Mexico. In addition, Nob Hill is located on historic Route 66.

ABQ Uptown, a new outdoor shopping center only 25 miles from San Pedro Overlook, offers upscale shopping such as BCBG, Coldwater Creek, Jared’s The Galleria of Jewelry, Jos. A. Bank, J.Jill, Pottery Barn, Talbots and Williams-Sonoma. Restaurants include Marcello’s Chophouse, Bravo Cucina Italiana and Elephant Bar.

Coronado Center, which is down the street from ABQ Uptown, features Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Barnes & Noble, Bombay Company, Brookstone, Godiva, Helzberg Diamonds and Macy’s.

Cottonwood Mall, located on the west side of Albuquerque, offers Cache, Dillard’s, Luz de Nambe, Shoes on a Shoe String and United Artists Starport Theatre.

Santa Fe

Just a short drive to the north, Santa Fe offers fabulous shopping to suit every pocketbook. The Santa Fe Plaza is home to a great variety of small shops and art galleries, and truly shows off the uniqueness of the Southwest. Whether you are looking to purchase a Georgia O’Keefe original or a southwestern jacket, you can find it in this historic setting. The famous Tesuque Flea Market has fascinating items for sale every weekend during the summer months, and the Santa Fe Premium Outlets have over 25 stores with great prices for the value-conscious shopper.
